Spring has sprung at least I hope it has the crocus are blooming and the birds are chirping, but winter is still hanging in there we had snow, rain and flooding all in one day.  So I thought that I would make a card to brighten up the afternoon and give me some hope of butterflies and flowers blooming.  So here it is a simple card with three layers and a butterfly to boot.

The cuts I used were from Serenade and were distressed and 3-D and I also used glitter paper for the butterfly, and put rhinestones for a little bling.  I so love the Cricut Explore awesome machine.  Have a wonderful day and enjoy the little things in life they can bring you great pleasures.

Happy Easter Bunny Card

Another day of snow and sitting here in my office and decided to make a card that would cheer me up and add a little Spring into my life.  Watched all day and night of HSN craft day and oh my what an inspiration.  So many things that I wanted to get.  I used Easter 2010 for the bunny, egg, grass and Happy Easter.  I distressed all and used pop dots to 3-D .  I also used Happy Easter for the flowers.  Have a glorious Spring day even though it is snowing.

Wedding/Lake Card

What a wonderful day it is today in the sixties Yay.  I have been working on a wedding card for a friends friend who enjoys the lake, and just recently got married so I incorporated the lake and a wedding into one card hope you liked it.  Of course I had to add a little bling a  wedding without bling is unheard of.  I also embossed with hearts folder and used glitter paper for the lake.  I so enjoy the Explore as you see the cuts are very intricate and there is no problems.  Well have to admit I did have a small problem but it was all me forgot to switch back from glitter paper to regular cardstock so don't forget when changing paper to change your knob.  Well until next time enjoy this weather while you can rain and the cold returns.

Good afternoon, just wanted to share a little pop up box that I made today.  I was looking out my window and got inspired by the wonderful weather that we are having and even though there are no flowers outside I made a little box of sunshine for my desk.  This is the first one that I attempted to make and it was a challenge but I think that it turned out okay for the first one.  I will be making more of these and to boot they will fit in a envelope.  Enjoy and have a wonderful Sunday.
